Beware of the Fakes!

It's amazing how the holistic world has become a magnet to greedy new-age fakers offering all kinds of wondrous, recently discovered solutions to natural health. Commercialism with its inherent flaws has no place in the natural healing world! I have witnessed on many occasions the uninitiated attending a weekend course/seminar and subsequently advertising their services as fully fledged super-duper healers ready to heal everything and everyone where all other practitioners and modalities have failed. These types normally attend weekend seminars of 'shady' modalities and shortly after appear in the glossy new-age journals advertising their super-duper healing skills! They have been known to ‘hijack’ a modalities name and add some appendage such as "SA" and make this their domain name when launching websites with the content cloned/stolen from some other sites. I have heard them make claims that they are HEALERS, Wow! .....This is something we, the enlightened know cannot be true! They often tell of dreams where beings have chosen and directed them to healing and try to find signs and special meaning in almost everything they experience. They sometimes talk of spiritual guides leading them, normally Native American Indian, Gurus or Egyptian priests with all the visual props such as wigwams, pyramids etc. I find they often have some professional background in sales (Insurance, Medical insurance, Second hand car Dealers etc.), though other professions are found too. They seem to ‘smell’ financial potential within the field of holistic health and judging by their haste to advertise and apply commercial tactics, there can be no doubt as to what is driving their interest in holistic matters. We must be aware of these scavengers, those who loudly make outlandish claims such as:
"This is a newly discovered frequency!"
"This new energy is neded as the world is speeding up!"
"This energy is special!"
"This energy feels different!"
"I was given this healing gift by Angels/Aliens/Wizards/Gnomes/Pop-eye/Andy-Pandy.. etc.!"
"Forget about all other modalities, this one is the only one!"
"I am a healer!"
Quoting some of my favourites...
These individuals harm our world and will be exposed as fakes!

Telling the Wise from the Charlatans

In the medical profession, licence to practice is given only to mature, able and ethical individuals but few esoteric practitioners or spiritual healers have a certificate. How do you know they are capable and ethical? Skilled, etical metaphysical practitioners and teachers do exist, but for every one of them there seems to be many unskilled and unethical others who have learned very little and immediately begun to practice and teach that little to others. How do we tell a wise teacher from a phoney or fraudulent one is not always easy when the glamour or charisma of the spiritual publicity machine surrounding them is shinning in your eyes. Ask around and examine the fruits of their work rather than be dazzled by their website or operation. Good practitioners and teachers will attract without the need for glitzy glamourous advertising. Let intuition guide you.

Forget all about figuring it out what it is. Rather, live it; rather, enjoy it! Don't analyze, celebrate it!

Earth Straining under weight of 7 Billion people

At its current pace of population growth, humankind will need, by 2030, a second planet to satisfy its appetites and absorb its waste!

Stop spending time with the wrong people

Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you. If someone wants you in their life, they’ll make room for you. You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot. Never, ever insist yourself to someone who continuously overlooks your worth. And remember, it’s not the people that stand by your side when you’re at your best, but the ones who stand beside you when you’re at your worst that are your true friends.

Stop running from your problems

Face them head on. No, it won’t be easy. There is no person in the world capable of flawlessly handling every punch thrown at them. We aren’t supposed to be able to instantly solve problems. That’s not how we’re made. In fact, we’re made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall. Because that’s the whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve them over the course of time. This is what ultimately molds us into the person we become.
